Mission & Product Values

Social & Emotional Intelligence starts here.

Our Beliefs

Children

Not every child is born with the same opportunities/advantages. Children need support for growth as they prepare to be global citizens. Social and Emotional Intelligence is a core part of that.

How We Support

We equip them by providing spaces & products for them to be future leaders.

Our Core Values

πŸ‡°πŸ‡ͺ

Made in Kenya

African stories, African children, global ambition. We do not apologise for where we come from. Our colours, our families, our soil are celebrated.

β›ͺ

Faith-based

Using the foundation of faith to impart social and emotional learning to prepare our children for leadership.

πŸš€

Propelling the future leaders

We equip children by providing resources and tools to stand out and lead with confidence on the global stage.

Three Simple Steps

How It Works

1️⃣

Open the journal

Find today's page. One gentle prompt is waiting for you. No setup. No rules. Just turn to today's date.

2️⃣

Write or doodle

Words, drawings, or both. Even a squiggle counts. Even a sad face counts. Even a blank page with a name on it counts.

3️⃣

Watch something grow

Week by week, your child builds the habit of naming their feelings. That's emotional intelligence β€” quietly forming, one page at a time.

Family Stories

Loved by families β€” and Sunday schools.

"My daughter used to shut down when she was upset. After three weeks with her Joy Hue journal, she came to me and said, "Mum, I wrote my sad down." I cried. It counts. It really counts."

"I ordered 15 copies for my Sunday school class. The faith prompts are gentle β€” not pushy. After our second session, one child said a prayer on their own for the first time. I had to step outside."

"I live in London and wanted to send a meaningful gift to my niece in Kenya. This journal was perfect β€” she writes in it every single day. She says it's like having a friend who listens."

A Letter from Roselyne

Where Joy Hue Began

"As a girl in Banana, Kenya, I filled my first journal with questions, wishing someone would tell me: Your feelings belong here and your dreams are possible. As a lawyer, I realized that academic success is only half the battle; to raise the next generation of African leaders, we must ground them in faith, social and emotional intelligence.

I founded Joy Hue to bridge this gap. With Africa set to provide the world’s largest youth population, we must do more than educate; we must empower. Our faith-backed, Kenyan-made resources provide the self-awareness and confidence children need to master their inner worlds while excelling in the classroom.

Joy Hue is about more than just toolsβ€”it is about preparation for the global stage. I want every child to grow up with the conviction to own the room, whether in a classroom or a boardroom. We are propelling our children into the global market not just to compete, but to lead with grace, empathy, and purpose."
